I ran 5k again today and decreased my time by about 1 minute. It was harder, I could tell. Of course the biting wind wasn't helpful.
My eating has been better today. One day at a time.

I don't think I could ever run 5km again - walk it yes but run it - what a star you are. I wonder what it is that gets us in those states of mind where we almost set out to sabotage ourselves. I never know whether it's best to just try to resist the snacking as best i can or redirect the urging into lo-cal snacking like lo-cal jellies, lo-cal desserts etc. I'm sure you'll get over this hump. It's cracy to think you can run all that way and still no be shedding pounds! Mel
Congratulations! That is so awesome! I am so excited for you. Yes, the holidays are a source of temptation. Have you ever tried frozen bing cherries? I love them for a snack along with roasted almonds. Just thought I would share!
Yippee!
Way to go.
What an awesome feeling, isn't it? I still can remember the first time I ran that far. It is truly good for the body and mind. Remember during your race, your adrenaline will be up a notch and will probably make you run a little faster. Races always do that to me. I am so excited for you. I can't wait to hear about your race. I so wish I could be there to chear you on! I'll be thinking about you.
